Mission Statement
Pinellas Surf is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing Pinellas County youths with the opportunity to experience new cultures and assist with environmental causes through surfing excursions.

Pinellas Surf's Team: Stroking for the Cause raised over $3,190.00 for the American Cancer Society. All Relay Teams combined raised a grand total of $57,000.00!

UPCOMING COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS

- Two Times per Year {November and April} - World Sailfish Fishing Tournament Packing Gift Bags & Trucks
Purpose: Proceeds of the fall tournament benefit several charities.

- Four Times per Year - Adopt a Mile / Adopt a Shore
Purpose: To continously keep the Sand Key Beach / Park and its street clean by volunteering to have clean-ups several times a year. Check out the Home Page for the next clean-up dates!



PAST COMMUNITY SERVICE & EVENTS


- November 12th, 2011 - Beach Cleanup @ Sand Key Park
Purpose: To keep the beach clean for years to come and get rid of waste such as cans, bottles, plastics, cigarette buds, and all debris.

- September 24th, 2011 - Beach Cleanup @ Sand Key Park
Purpose: To keep the beach clean for years to come and get rid of waste such as cans, bottles, plastics, cigarette buds, and all other debris. This session also included skim board demonstration!

- May 21st, 2011 - Pinellas Surf Organization Golf Tournament
Purpose: A golf tournament which occured at Brooker Creek Country Club in Palm Harbor. In which proceeds benefited the Pinellas Surf Organization's members for future community interaction events.

- April 8-9, 2011 - Relay for Life
Purpose: Event held at Countryside High School, contact David Sica here (or email davidsica@pinellassurf.com) for teams and donation information! To support The American Cancer Society 'Relay For Life' who represent the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten and that those who face cancer will be supported and that one day, cancer will be eliminated.

- Winter Holidays 2010 - Holiday Giving to Local Families
Purpose: To make the holidays more jolly for several families around the Tampa Bay Area.

- November 21st, 2010 - Beach Cleanup @ Sand Key Park
Purpose: To keep the beach clean for years to come and get rid of waste such as cans, bottles, plastics, cigarette buds, and all other debris. This session also included a paddle board demonstration!

- October 24th, 2010 - Pinellas Surf Organization Corn Hole Tournament
Information: A corn hole tournament which occured at Heathers Place in Safety Harbor. In which proceeds benefited the Pinellas Surf Organization's members for future community interaction events.

- September 18th, 2010 - Beach Cleanup @ Sand Key Park
Purpose: To keep the beach clean for years to come and get rid of waste such as cans, bottles, plastics, cigarette buds, and all other debris.

About Community Service
The Pinellas Surf Organization and its members welcome everyone and anyone who would like to participate with our group. We have a list of members that is always expanding and we are proud of it! We love making our community happy and have fun doing it at the same time. This organization also allows any student in need of volunteer hours to earn them and in the process interact with other members of the same age and interests.
